Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and CrazyEngineers Technologies Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Jatra platform ("Service" or "Platform"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • "Service" or "Platform" refers to the online community-building platform provided by CrazyEngineers Technologies Private Limited, known as Jatra, accessible via web and mobile applications.
  • "User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or entity who accesses or uses the Service, including but not limited to community creators, members, and visitors.
  • "Company", "we", "us", or "our" refers to CrazyEngineers Technologies Private Limited, the owner and operator of the Jatra platform.
  • "Content" includes but is not limited to text, images, video, audio, and other materials that users create, upload, or share on the Service.
  • "Account" refers to the personal account created by the User to access and use the Service.
  • "Subscription Plan" refers to the various paid and free plans offered by the Company for using the Service.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using the Service. By accessing or using any part of the Service, you agree to become bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, then you may not access the Service or use any part thereof.

1. General Information

Purpose: The primary purpose of Jatra is to enable users to create and manage their own communities using our platform.

Target Audience: The target audience for Jatra includes businesses, creators, entrepreneurs, and any individuals who wish to build their own community.

Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions for using Jatra.

2. User Accounts

Account Creation: To create an account, users must provide a valid email address and name. Additionally, users may opt to create an account using social login options, including Google and LinkedIn.

Username and Password Guidelines: Users are advised to create strong passwords; however, there are no specific guidelines mandated.

Multiple Accounts: Users are permitted to create multiple accounts, with each account limited to the creation of one community. The email address serves as the unique identifier for account creation.

Account Termination or Suspension: CrazyEngineers reserves the right to terminate or suspend any user account without prior notice and without liability. Grounds for termination or suspension include, but are not limited to, involvement in illegal activities, spamming, disrespectful behavior towards other members, or any actions that adversely affect the company’s business or reputation.

3. Subscription and Payment

Subscription Plans: Subscription plans are detailed on the /pricing page, and these plans may be updated at any time without prior notice.

Billing: Users have the option to choose between monthly and annual billing cycles for their subscription plans.

Free Trials: A 7-day free trial is available for all subscription plans. This offer is subject to change at the discretion of CrazyEngineers.

Refund Policy: Refunds are generally not issued except in special circumstances, which are determined solely at the discretion of CrazyEngineers.

4. User Content

Types of Content: Users are permitted to create and upload various forms of content, including text, images, video, and audio, relevant to the community's topic. Communities may cover a broad range of topics, except those deemed illegal, unlawful, or immoral. CrazyEngineers reserves the right to deny or remove any community or content hosted on Jatra at its sole discretion.

Content Restrictions: Only family-friendly content is permitted. Any other types of content are strictly prohibited.

Ownership of Content: Users retain ownership rights over the content they generate and upload.

Use of Content by Jatra: By using the platform, users grant Jatra the right to use their content for marketing and other purposes.

5. Privacy and Data Security

Handling of User Data: User data is utilized to enhance our product offerings and may be incorporated into our marketing and sales materials.

Data Protection Measures: User data is securely stored on protected servers, and data transmission over the internet is safeguarded using HTTPS protocols.

Sharing Data with Third Parties: We do not share user data with third parties, except in certain circumstances. CrazyEngineers reserves the right to modify this policy without prior notice.

6. Service Availability

Uptime Guarantee: While we strive to maintain 99% server uptime, we do not provide any explicit uptime guarantees.

Maintenance and Downtime: Routine maintenance and updates will be communicated to users in advance. We endeavor to minimize any downtime and ensure timely updates to our infrastructure.

Service Disruption: In the event of a service disruption, our technical team will make every effort to restore services as swiftly as possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrazyEngineers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services; (d) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services by any third party; (e) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the services; and/or (f) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

Disclaimers and Warranties: The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. In addition, while Jatra attempts to provide a good user experience, we do not warrant that (a) the services will always be secure, error-free, or timely; (b) the services will always function without delays, disruptions, or imperfections; or (c) that any content or information you obtain on or through the services will be timely or accurate.

8. User Conduct

User Behavior: Users must refrain from engaging in any activities that are illegal, harmful, or disruptive to the platform or other users. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, spamming, and unauthorized use of the platform.

Consequences of Violations: Violations of these rules may result in the suspension or termination of the user’s account, at the sole discretion of CrazyEngineers.

9. Changes to the Terms

Notification of Changes: We will notify users of significant changes to the Terms of Service via email or through notifications on the platform.

Frequency of Updates: The Terms of Service will be updated as necessary, and users are encouraged to review the terms periodically.
