Terms of Service

These terms explain how you can use Jatra, how subscriptions and billing work, and the responsibilities of all platform users.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and CrazyEngineers Technologies Private Limited ("Company", "Jatra", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Jatra, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • Service: The Jatra platform, including websites, apps, and related services.
  • User: Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
  • Community Creator: A User that creates or manages a community on Jatra.
  • Content: Posts, comments, files, images, links, and other material submitted through the Service.
  • Subscription Plan: Any free, trial, or paid Jatra plan.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your local law requires a higher age.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account credentials.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security or legal risk.

3. Platform role

Jatra provides infrastructure and software tools for communities. Community Creators are responsible for policies, moderation, and operational decisions within their own communities.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and trials

  • Plan details are listed on our Pricing page.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance based on your selected billing cycle.
  • If taxes apply, they will be charged in addition to listed prices where required.
  • If a trial is offered, it may convert to paid billing unless canceled before trial end.
  • Refund terms are governed by the Refunds and Cancellation Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

  • Publishing illegal or infringing content.
  • Harassing others or posting hate speech, threats, or abuse.
  • Attempting unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Disrupting platform operations through malware, abusive automation, or denial tactics.
  • Running deceptive, fraudulent, or spam campaigns through the Service.

6. User content and licenses

  • You retain ownership of your Content.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display your Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
  • You represent that you have the rights needed to post and share your Content.

7. Privacy and data handling

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal information. By using the Service, you agree to that policy.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

9. No guaranteed outcomes

Jatra may support discovery, engagement, and growth outcomes. However, we do not guarantee SEO rankings, traffic volumes, revenue impact, or business results.

10. Intellectual property

Jatra software, product marks, and related materials are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership rights.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent allowed by law.
  • We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the amount paid by you to Jatra during the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims and liabilities arising out of your use of the Service, your Content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes related to these Terms or the Service are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra, India.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions are effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
